The gap

Green boats are being ordered. Nobody can refuel them at sea.

  • The sea is the biggest untapped energy source

    Cities run out of roof and space. Offshore, wind, sun and waves are free.

  • No hydrogen at the marina

    Batteries weigh 3 to 5 times more than hydrogen. Trucking hydrogen in is expensive. Making it on the spot is not.

  • Renewables need a buffer

    Wind and waves come when they want. Hydrogen stores the surplus and sells as a fuel.

How a Sea Ring turns the sea into fuel.

STEP 1 · Wind

Harvest the wind

Vertical-axis turbines on the deck. Any wind direction, low profile, quiet.

STEP 2 · Solar

Harvest the sun

The deck crown is a solar skin. The one source with a predictable curve.

STEP 3 · Wave

Harvest the waves

Wave converters on the floaters turn constant motion into power.

STEP 4 · Electrolysis

Seawater becomes hydrogen

Desalinate, then split by electrolysis. The sea supplies the cooling water.

STEP 5 · Storage

Store it as hydrogen

Three sources stack into one steady curve. Hydrogen holds the surplus and powers the ring all night.

STEP 6 · Bunkering

Refuel yachts at sea

Hydrogen yachts dock and pay at the pump, ten minutes from the coast.

STEP 7 · Aquaculture · Hospitality

The rest is a by-product

A fish cage below. Nine suites and a beach club on deck. Rings join, and a tug can move one.
